Out of void comes consciousness
leviathan in shallow waters
without memory of that dark beyond darkness
save fear of it
A place before even an idea of light existed
nerve ends of chaos in deepest night
made real with hands crawling from the desert
already losing the grip they found
and crumbling away with the sand
Ravage the night and break through
to a choice of oasis in the distance
or darkness at the end of all things

Been reading The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin. I doubt I’ll ever be off the sci-fi train.

Why get off the train? There are so many cars to explore.

Please don’t ever be off the Sci-fi train unless of course the opportunity to meet an alien 👽 arises!!
