When the lights go out everything becomes clear
The truth is no longer obscured by radiance
but exposed to the scouring darkness, flayed alive
and put on display, hanging from the gallows
carrion for the vultures circling
The seekers will find it when they come to us
this harbinger of the fate they flee
an offering of refuge deeper into shadow
our symbol of the sacred, rocking gently in the wind

If I could live in any fictional world it would be the one where the USA isn’t infected with fascism.

So far 2021 has been terrible. Those fascist bastards need a more severe punishment than being arrested.

I agree. I fear what will happen if they continue to get away with terrorism. We can only hope the hammer falls swiftly.

Dang, I appreciate that! I no longer have an active FB account unfortunately. Is it possible to submit something through Medium directly?

I’m sorry. But, you must be a member of WE PAW Bloggers group on Facebook to qualify to contribute to the ezine.
I really wish I could make an exception for you, but that wouldn’t be fair to the forum members – especially the couple dozen over the past months who joined just for the chance to contribute to the ezine.

Not being a part
of Facebook
is honorable and wise
You are far
more valuable
than the commodity
of a Faceless
machine.
