Charred battlefields sweep away horizons bent and broken

Nebulae shower the world in gold
A planet groans beneath the weight of a knife edge pressed to its throat
Struggle not to breathe
Inhale the scent of delirium
Liquid laughter stabbing eardrums
Head bent, back contorted
