The sights, the sounds, the feelings of a place apart
Someone belongs here beneath this sky
and I’m out of place
a psyche with no mind to hold it
another story on an endless shelf
begun too early and finished too late
so close to the rest that our covers are almost touching
but between us a universe
stretches out to infinite horizons
and a pile of all those never written
waits for someone to come searching
lift them out of the funeral pyre
and fall headlong into cryptic realms

Nah I dont mind 🙂 My home state. There are some weird places out here if you go out late at night and look up at the stars.
