It’s the mask that gazes out over the world
as the eyes behind play host to a thousand sighs
Take it off, and all that’s left are the shadows
What stands tall is a marionette
guided by strings entangled with fate’s tapestry
ready at a breath to break away, lose control
fall and give in to giving up
But the strings hold
and the hand guides
and long after the lights dim and the curtains close
the dance goes on and on and on and on

I was thinking about this today—I’m pretty sure the only tv shows I’ve ever watched in their entirety are The West Wing and Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. What are your favorite shows?

Very nice my friend. I particularly like these stanzas
“guided by strings entangled with fate’s tapestry
ready at a breath to break away, lose control
fall and give in to giving up”
Very nicely done. Lately we have been watching Dominic West, and Ruth Wilson (a really pretty redhead in a Netflix show called “The Affair”. It is on showtime we have to order it on Netflix. Great show. It gives the perspective of each main event from each character’s view.
Have a great week my friend. Love 💕 Joni

Thanks Joni (:
That sounds really interesting, a show that switches between the characters’ perspectives. I imagine it probably gets interesting when you have to decide who to believe, does it?

Yes it is especially interesting to see the difference between the man’s visual memories of how the woman he is having the affair with differs from hers. I just love this actress. There is something about her that makes you stare a her I think it is her pouting mouth. Let me know if you watch it what you think. Love 💕 and hugs Joni

One day I’ll add Supernatural to my list of completed shows! I have bouts every now and then where I’ll binge an entire season of it before going a long time without watching again. Don’t know why! It is so good though.

The last few years I’ve been watching The Goldbergs to the point that I’ve seen every episode probably at least three times, except for the most recent season. It’s a show about growing up in the 80s with a crazy family… that was literally my life. And that was one of the inspirations for me to start a blog where I tell stories about my past, although I chose a different age and time period because my most interesting stories happened when I was a little older.

Very cool. Love hearing about how people have been inspired. You should have a show, too!
