Lock the cage door

barricade it against the stars

the fortune of freedom given away

Let all who have seen the world in drought

slam their fists against the door

Leave out the dead who long to rise

Give power to the free who own the world

and let even the sky fall into time

Break out of the chains

and let sunrise light the land

while the whispers call out for mercy
