Bloodlust

Decay is the crumbling walls

between what seems safe and what seems familiar

Give the dawn a chance to break

before bloodlust fades away to blackness

The song is one of resolution

grief and despair on the edge of this

crying out for anything else to take its place

but here it is, the broken mind

and a jaw hell bent on devouring the world

wailing and gnashing of teeth

as a slow breeze blows away all traces of the night

Kamala Harris kicked Pence’s ass in the debate last night. I can’t wait to vote for Biden/Harris in November.
