Falling stars give light to this city
commanding all who kneel beneath them
to taste ash and dust
in communion with forgotten gods
Then pile high the effigies and burn them
their death a signal to the wilds
breath of iron forged into this new machine
ready to wake from its slumber
and lay waste to lands once holy

I love world buildings. Without a well-thought-out world, there are just characters in a mess of random scenes.
