gather in the valley between night and day

where travellers dance along the riverbank

and make ready the ascension

back to what was lost

soaring realms of ebony and gold

where the wraiths cannot follow

and so are left behind to stray further

from the mind that gave them life

until the long walk through veiled lands

lies forgotten on sundered plains

burning in the last rays of a dying star
