A northwest gale gone out against the seas
Grants passage to the weary,
Lost among pathways given to the night
Stumbling thirsty over desert’s edge to the oasis
But in between is the green deception
Stagnant without the dead-cover of autumn whirlwinds
And even now melting barriers drip silently to the floor below
With eyes on the world’s fire we set in the underbelly
Mumbling over the desert sands to a liquid horizon
Here we wait for the unraveling of a star.

Your poetry is so natural and rooted in everyday life. I love the imagery you use, the way the words are positioned on the page, words reflecting a rhythm and flow that remind me of the sea!
