On soft winds the screams can be heard
a slowly overwhelming, neverending
cacophony unimaginable and yet all too real
warning all who stand against it:
you too will fall
and the world will sigh and shudder
turning slowly in pain and darkness
crawling down the long road toward silence

Started rereading The Lord of the Rings a few days ago. No matter what, I always seem to want to come back to Middle Earth.

Oh, once you mentioned LOR, the poem changed. I liked it before, and now I have to like it with the story.
