I was there when the world broke
I saw sunburnt faces scattered in gardens
and I planted seeds in the asphalt between them
to be watered by acid rains of the coming Spring
I waited for the rains to come and mix with the dried blood
I watched it run red again
and all together the scene
was so horrible
so gruesome
and so perfect
like everything was in its place and always had been
fading away
and me with it
holding fast to a one-way ticket
and simply along for the ride

Maybe this is a bit melodramatic. Oh well, hope you enjoy (: Cheers all

So somber. Makes me think of the darkness of war in Ukraine; the news coverage last night was eye opening.
