Let Me Out

Strangers walk the halls of my home
They will not go away
No matter how loudly I scream
They never seem to hear me
I must warn them of the fraying edges
Pulses of black ice seeping in from decaying walls
The hellfire cold I cannot escape
Which they never seem to feel
Laughter bright and piercing beyond my empty screams
Fists beating at the walls in silent rage
Let me out let me out let me out
It is coming to consume me
