New ways open in the darkness around
Tempting away from the path through night
More than one light shines in this tunnel
Not two ends, not a road through
Spiderwebs of gravel bed cut into nothing
Leading to soft-light visions of another place
Worlds beyond this zone of darkness
One at random is enough to rend my soul
When I see what this place knows
Its long stone arms reaching into me
My past the field, heavy with the harvest
A tree stands alone in fog atop a hillside
The long winding path a tired crawl
A journey that will never be completed
And the way back is lost
Tunnel Vision
