Aftermath

With every passing second more of the fog clears

each breath sweeter than the last

filling scarred lungs and soothing, healing

Here is the aftermath of a long journey

through lands forbidden and desolate

leading to the beyond, and this moment

standing at the edge of nothing and everything

with the taste of memory still on my tongue

watching for a sign of what waits further on

to a dream where no road leads but mine

So, this Solar Winds hack thing seems like a pretty big deal…

  1. This is a really beautiful poem, although bleak in some ways the visuals are just stunning Mitch, and I love the following lines:

“standing at the edge of nothing and everything

with the taste of memory still on my tongue”

Hope you are well and staying safe. I have not heard about the solar winds hack but I will be looking it up now. You have an amazing day my friend. Stay safe, hugs Joni
