With every passing second more of the fog clears
each breath sweeter than the last
filling scarred lungs and soothing, healing
Here is the aftermath of a long journey
through lands forbidden and desolate
leading to the beyond, and this moment
standing at the edge of nothing and everything
with the taste of memory still on my tongue
watching for a sign of what waits further on
to a dream where no road leads but mine

This is a really beautiful poem, although bleak in some ways the visuals are just stunning Mitch, and I love the following lines:
