I walked hand in hand with a ghost
suspended together in time
above a thousand worlds passing us by
happy to watch strange suns rise and fall
as the road home dissolved into stars
When the mirage faded
those walls I’d built to house it were a prison
and the key to my cell was already lost
far below beneath the ocean waves
