Waves rolling under iron-forged skies
clouds fighting to hold back the sun
but light seeps through and falls
becoming reflections that drift away on hidden tides
They passed by here
shimmering on stone-faced waves
and asked the way to Armageddon
then left over the white-crested landscape
in a rise and fall from summit to valley
their war drums echoing over the waters
