Signed, with love, an enemy
then the edges burnt with a 2 dollar cigarette lighter
and stained all over by coffee I bought just for this
which I won’t drink because I can’t stand the taste yet
Now holding papyrus soaked in secrets
unearthed from the Valley of Kings
in a landlocked kitchen, standing there
I start to look for an ocean
red or blue or whatever else
It’s the last thing I need
I’ve already got the bottle

Something a bit different, maybe. Cheers!

Evokes feelings of sadness, emptiness. Makes me want to cry for them.
On a brighter note, I don’t like the smell of coffee either.
